Ten Years of Efforts and Responsibilities

I always make my goals in the period of every five years, and I will look back to see how they are going. I will learn somethings that I have not done well so far. For me, every failure is the experience that helps improving myself getting better in the future. Besides, what I have succeeded is just a gift for my efforts. However, I am always happy with those failures and successes. In my past, I had learned most of the failures than successes, and I kept those experiences until now, making sure I never do them again.
In my next five years, my main goal is almost focusing on my education. I will finish my Associate of Science (AS) Degree at Honolulu Community College in Architectural, Engineering, and Cad (AEC) Technologies. Also, I will transfer to the University of Hawaii Manoa for my Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Architecture Design, so I will add it to my other next five years’ goal if possible. Besides my education, raising my son, and getting healthier are the other main goals I have to do so far. Even though my son is just two years old now, I know I have to teach him a lot since he starts learning to talk and developing his character. However, I have to make sure not following and repeating the mistakes from my parents’ path. Moreover, being healthy is the most important part I have to do. For me, when I am healthy, I can do and learn anything without fear or worry about my health. Also, I am going to move back to the mainland after I finish my career, probably in the next ten years or maybe sooner at the end of my first five years, but I will add it for both my five years’ goal.
However, I love Hawaii, but Hawaii seems to be expensive to live and afford a house, and importantly not so many good jobs out there. In the next five years, I will buy a home after moving to the mainland. I know to get this target done, I have to work harder and harder. Maybe, I will transfer to some Universities on the mainland in the same major instead of the University of Hawaii Manoa. On these five years’ target, my son will attend the middle school and will be a teenager. On the other hand, I experienced my rebellious teenage time, so I can understand and imagine how my son will be, and I will do my best to help my son goes through that time without any problems. Moreover, when I achieve my BS Degree, I will apply for my Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree. I love studying, so I will make it as long as I can, and I want to make an example of myself to my son about it.
To sum up, my next ten years will be more effort and responsibility. I know it will be a challenge to myself, but I will do my best to achieve my goals and learn from them.
